Where these Terms of Service and a signed engagement letter conflict, the engagement letter takes precedence for that engagement.

Content on this website — including service descriptions, FAQs, and pricing indications — is general information only and does not constitute personalised tax, accounting, or financial advice. Your specific circumstances may affect the advice or treatment applicable to you. Formal advice is only given in the context of a direct engagement with us.
5. Fees & payment
Indicative pricing shown on this website (for example, monthly retainer or onboarding fees) reflects our standard rates at the time of publishing and is provided for guidance only. Final fees are confirmed in your engagement letter or invoice. Fees are payable in accordance with the payment terms set out in your invoice or engagement letter. We reserve the right to suspend services for accounts in arrears, subject to reasonable prior notice.
6. Your responsibilities
To deliver accurate and timely services, we rely on you to:
- Provide complete, accurate, and timely information and supporting documentation;
- Notify us promptly of any changes relevant to your tax, accounting, or payroll affairs;
- Review submissions and filings we prepare on your behalf before they are finalised, where practical;
- Keep your own copies of statutory records as required by law.
7. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fintec Group’s liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees paid for the specific engagement giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for losses arising from inaccurate, incomplete, or late information provided by you, or from circumstances outside our reasonable control (including SARS or CIPC system delays and outages). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability arising from gross negligence.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, and logos, is the property of Fintec Group or its licensors and is protected by South African intellectual property law.
9. Termination
Either party may terminate a service engagement in accordance with the notice period set out in the applicable engagement letter. On termination, fees for work performed up to the termination date remain payable, and we will hand over records reasonably necessary for a smooth transition.
10. Governing law & disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from these terms or our services will first be addressed through direct engagement between the parties, and failing resolution, may be referred to the courts of South Africa having jurisdiction.
